Lighttown Closure was written and recorded by Chris van der Linden in close collaboration with Jelle Goossens (Guitar/Electronica) and Tom van Nuenen (Guitar/Vocals) from winter 2008 to fall 2009.

The initial drum tracks were recorded live in an old shed off in the country side during the winter before being committed to heavy cutting and editing.

Combining live drums, acoustic instruments with continuous heavy layers of electronica, Lighttown Closure paints a densely textured sound and takes the listener to a multitude of places, on a journey that’s again a moving one.

Fourteen Twentysix is the cryptic alias of Holland’s atmospheric rock band that uses rain barrels for bass drums, embraces ... more digital music distribution and reaches out to listeners worldwide through digital liveshows and living room concerts. Not afraid of change and experiment, the band shared the stage with both dark rockers Antimatter (UK) as well as folk legends Turin Brakes (UK). less
